Astitva'25

Astitva'25, Poetree's induction event, took place on 9 December 2025 at Acharya Hall, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. The evening focused on themes of existence, identity, growth, and loss, and brought together poetry, performance, and reflection. The program opened with a peace invocation and a welcome address, followed by powerful poetry renditions, original works, and poetic duels that explored Life versus Death and Hope versus Indifference. A group performance traced the stages of human life, presenting honest reflections on childhood, youth, adulthood, and aging. The event also featured selected scenes from Dead Poets Society and a showcase of DPS- AVV, highlighting the importance of free expression and creative community.An alumnus reflection connected Poetree's journey across generations and spoke directly about growing through loss.Astitva'25 concluded with a vote of thanks and a clear message.Poetry remains a space for truth, vulnerability, and connection.The event reaffirmed Poetree's role as a platform where voices are heard and experiences are shared without restraint
